This is a copy of one-time major league baseball player, Bill Werber's book, Circling the Bases. Werber played for the Yankees, Red Sox, A's, Reds and Giants in his career, playing for the Reds in their 1939 and 1940 World Series. The book is signed to Bill Keating (William Keating was a congressional rep for two terms and also publisher of the Cincinnati Enquirer). There is also a handwritten letter to Keating from Werber covering both sides of the paper. Finally, there is a black & white postcard of Werber in an A's uniform which is also signed. It's wonderful collection of paraphernalia from the player who, at the time of his death, was the oldest living major league baseball player. He was also the last surviving teammate of Babe Ruth.
